Career Exploration Micro-credential

Rich opportunities for career exploration are critical along a learner’s entire educational and employment journey. This Career Exploration micro-credential equips participants with powerful assessment tools specifically aimed toward unlocking learners’ strengths, interests and career aspirations. By utilizing these tools, staff members will be able to support learners to gain a clearer understanding of their career goals, enabling them to chart a fulfilling path forward.

Upon completion of this micro-credential, training participants will be able to:

• Articulate the specifics of their role as it relates to career coaching

• Use a Career Self-assessment tool to guide learners through their personal career-exploration process

• Use an Identify Your Values tool to help learners discover what truly matters to them and how those values connect to their ideal career path

• Use a Your Dream Job tool to support learners in defining their ideal career and prioritizing actions that can help them get there

• Use an Evaluate Skills and Strengths tool to help learners assess their existing skills and strengths, empowering them to leverage these strengths for future success
